We are seeking contributions for a large scale manifesto.

We invite you to take a moment to imagine what a more hopeful future could be like.

NEW SOCIETY seeks to reimagine the way we think about power – who inherits it, who takes it & who we give it to.

It’s a broken manifesto for a more hopeful future – for tomorrow, for next week, for next year, for now!

What is wrong? What could be better? How can we fix it? Do we want to?

Please leave your response in the form below.

In April 2022 the government’s Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act came into effect.

The Act makes significant changes across the criminal justice system, including to police powers. It has a serious impact on human rights, particularly the right to protest.

NEW SOCIETY is a different form of protest.

We will be collecting submissions in person in and around St Helens. If you spot us please say hello! We will probably be holding a placard.

The submissions will be designed and printed onto large posters, which will be fly-postered around the streets of Kirkby to create a massive manifesto.

In the collection of statements will sit contradictions, warnings, something that might help us examine and question our beliefs and values.

It will look a little bit like this.

Some of the submissions may need a small edit due to word count or similarity to other submissions. Sadly we may not be able to include all submissions e.g. if we have several submissions that are the same or similar.

This information might included on the poster. The response can be anonymous and we won’t include your email address on the poster.
